My Experience with Silence
As an introvert, I've often felt like I exist in a world that revolves around extroverted qualities like sociability and outgoingness. Yet, I've come to realize the incredible power in embracing my introverted nature. I find my energy and creativity in moments of solitude, and in this blog post, I want to share the unique strengths I have discovered as an introvert and how I've learned to harness these qualities to lead a fulfilling life.
One of the things I've learned to appreciate about being an introvert is my ability to reflect deeply on my thoughts and emotions. Solitude provides me with a space for self-discovery, allowing me to gain a deep understanding of both me and the world. This self-awareness helped me enhance creativity and problem solving.
I've heard of sayings that go: "A quiet person is talkative to the right people," and that's exactly right! While I prefer smaller gatherings and one-on-one interactions, that isn't proof that I'm antisocial. Actually, I learned that I excel at creating deep and meaningful connections with others. Funny thing is, my friends don't see me as an introvert, some do as an ambivert, but that's a different story, and I'll tell you about it another time. Anyways, I do like socializing, but I have a limit. Think of me as a high-end device that has high power consumption. We call that limit: "Social Battery." If all of this actually seems confusing, try to get to know an introvert, actual experience is better than just textual knowledge, after all.
Now, how about expressing myself? I don't just talk to someone about something, no. I would often hesitate to tell someone about how I feel. Instead, I try to show a bit of my emotions via art. I'm not that good at it, but I know a thing or two... It also just happens to be a part of both my body and family. As a child, I would draw or scribble on a lot of things whenever I see the opportunity to do so. Yes, I'm aware that every child did that at some point in their life, but they usually stop somewhere. But I kept going, like something was telling me to improve little by little, improving my art style as I grew older. As of now, I'm very fond of doing silhouette paintings or landscapes that gives a warm and peaceful vibe.
I can give two examples from my works:
This one is pretty recent, and the scene came from a memory. You could say that this silhouette shows my love for simple-looking art styles, as well as Astronomy. I decided to name it "A Scene Devoid of Light," as types of scenes like this can only be seen in areas unaffected by light pollution.
nice blog bro, I love your arts too!!!

ReplyDeleteI wholeheartly share your sentiments about being an introvert! Being in a very social setting just drains me out and being alone gives me a safe space to be introspective and think. I 100% agree in that I get WAY more talkative around friends who I'm quite close to, it really just feels like a burst of energy that I let out after I've been holding it in throughout a busy day around other people. I can also deeply relate to your passion with art and fascination with space and astronomy. The contrast between the black silhouettes in the foreground to the colourful background make for a very defined and eye-catching style! Keep up with your passions dude, I would love to see more ^^ excuse the big paragraph hehe...
